Events celebrate birds on their fall migration!

Events are ready to begin as the Prince Edward Point Bird Observatory celebrates birds on their fall migration.

Guided bird walks are being held Oct. 6 and 13. Meet at 9 a.m. at the observatory, prepared for a 1-2km walk.

Saw-whet owl banding is open to the public (on these nights only) unless it is raining, or too windy. Check the website at www.peptbo.ca before heading out to meet at the observatory.
Thurs/Fri/Sat – Oct 4, 5, 6 8:15 to 9:15 p.m.
Thurs/Fri/Sat – Oct. 11, 12, 13 8:15 to 9:15 p.m.
Thurs/Fri/Sat – Oct. 18, 19, 20 – 8:15 to 9:15 p.m.

In the meantime, submit your best original poem about birds to the PEPtBO poetry contest. Details at www.peptbo.ca

And get your reservations in early for the Fall Dinner and Silent Auction Saturday, Oct. 27!
