Friends 4 Kindness cheer PEC OPP with ‘pawsome’ visit

Following an Acts of Kindness visit to the Prince Edward County OPP Tuesday morning, “Gibby” the St. John service dog has proclaimed the department is “pawsome”.

Gibby, with the Prince Edward Chapter of Friends 4 Kindness, toured the detachment and presented staff with a certificate of appreciation.

“We thank the Friends 4 Kindness for choosing us as the September recipient for Acts of Kindness,” said Cst. Patrick Menard. ” The certificate was presented in appreciation of Prince Edward County OPP’s dedication to the community and the countless a cts of kindness performed on a daily basis.”

Friends 4 Kindness advocates inclusion and acceptance through kindness with the missive that everybody should feel included, accepted, and love.

Its parent organization goal centre around children who could benefit from “feeling like they matter” through the advocation of inclusiveness and acceptance. Birthday cards, visits and parties are promoted. Chapters are located in Brantford, Belleville and Quinte area and Ottawa and area.
