March Break family fun all week at the County’s libraries

March Break family fun continues at the Prince Edward County Public Library branches this week. While there is a waiting list for the Junkyard Symphony on Tuesday afternoon, there are a few free tickets remaining for the David Archibald show Saturday, March 17 at 11 a.m. at the Wellington library. Archibald has written and performed for Sesame Street and Mr. Dressup. Free tickets available by calling 613-399-2023.

Tech Train

Monday, March 12, 1-3pm
All ages
All Aboard the Tech Train! Dabble in robotics, circuitry, coding, and more when the Tech Train stops at your local branch of the Library. All ages welcome! (Yes – there is even coding for preschoolers!)

Stop Motion Film Camp
Tuesday March 13-Friday March 16, 2-4pm
Ages 8+
Spend the March Break becoming a director, producer, props manager and more with the Stop Motion Film Camp! This four-day camp is designed to give youth the opportunity to work collaboratively to create a stop motion film masterpiece that will debut at this year’s MakerClub Film Fest on Saturday March 17th. Registration is required, but attend when you can (all four days not mandatory).

Junkyard Symphony – FULL

Junkyard Symphony is coming to town – and bringing with them their JUNK! The Symphony originated in Ottawa in 1992, and strive to turn one man’s trash into their audience’s treasure.
This show is FULL, however if you would like your name added to the wait list, please email register@peclibrary.org or call 613-399-2023 with your name, number of tickets needed, and phone number.

Woodpecker Workshop with PEPtBO

Join Cheryl from Prince Edward Point Bird Observatory to discover which woodpeckers share our backyards, and make a bird cakes to entice them to visit! This program will appeal to all ages, from pre-school to seniors.
