New executive director for United Way

Brandi Hodge

United Way Hastings & Prince Edward’s board of directors has announced the appointment of Brandi Hodge, as its new executive director, effective Jan. 28th.

Hodge, is currently director, community engagement and has been with the United Way for more than 13 years.

Kathy Murphy announced she is leaving her post as executive director in late November 2018, due to personal and family needs.

“United Way has taught me so much about the importance of community and how we all thrive when we work together in support of those in need,” said Murphy, noting she is impressed by the commitment of the team and the level of dedication and expertise it demonstrates within the field of social development and fundraising.

Hodge looks forward to moving the organization forward and continuing to work with the many local programs and agencies supported by United Way HPE over the past 60 years.

“I’ve always been so honored to be a part of this organization and am looking forward to this new role within it. United Way has always mobilized our community around a shared vision – one where we continue to build a vibrant, healthy and safe community for everyone who calls it home.”

United Way Hastings & Prince Edward builds community in support more than 70 health and social programs within the Hastings and Prince Edward region.
