Loving husband, devoted father, loyal brother, and dear friend, Erin was the very best of men, and he will be missed by everyone lucky enough to know him. While he was modest to a fault, Erin had countless talents and interests. Woodworking, blacksmithing, canoeing, golfing, reading, and gardening, Erin was always finding something new that fascinated and challenged him, and was eager to share his passions with others. Erin was active and healthy, remaining dedicated to his fitness regime of push-ups, chin-ups, and sit-ups to his last day. Erin was a wonderful husband and companion to Sheila for 45 happy years. Their children Nathan (Anne) and Rachel (Michael) will remember his laugh every day.
