OPP release photos of suspects related to Regent Theatre break-in

The Prince Edward County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is requesting the assistance of the public in relation to two separate break and enter investigations.

On June 15th at approximately 7a.m. police were called to investigate a break and enter at Currah’s Café located at Sandbanks Provincial Park. Several consumable goods and some children’s sand toys valued at approximately $1,500 are reported stolen.

The police continue to seek information about three people captured on video surveillance wandering inside Picton’s Regent Theatre on May 7.
“There was a movie during the evening and the three males were observed inside the theatre after operating hours,” said Const. Connor Durkin, Community Safety Officer. “The three stole a box of alcoholic beverages and broke out of the theatre via a fire exit.”

Photos of the suspects in question have been released in hopes of identification. Call Prince Edward OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS(8477).
