Break downs delay Sophiasburgh/Hallowell garbage collection

Due to mechanical breakdowns, garbage and green bin collection service may be delayed in Hallowell and Sophiasburgh wards.

Waste Management will continue its collection service until sundown on Tuesday, July 16.
If your garbage and green bin are not collected on July 16, please put the material back out for collection before 7 am on Wednesday, July 17.

JULY 5 – Due to mechanical breakdowns, garbage and green bin collection service may be delayed in areas of Ameliasburgh ward on July 5.

JULY 4 – Due to mechanical breakdowns over the past several days and the high temperatures, garbage and green bin collection service was delayed in areas of Hillier on Thursday, July 4.

If your garbage and green bin were not collected on July 4, please put the material back out for collection before 7 am on Friday, July 5.

JULY 3 – Due to mechanical breakdowns, garbage and green bin collection service is delayed in areas of South Marysburgh.

Waste Management will continue its collection service until sundown on Wednesday, July 3.

If your garbage and green bin are not collected on July 3, please put the material back out for collection before 7 am on Thursday, July 4.

JUNE 26 – Due to mechanical breakdowns, garbage and green bin collection service were delayed in areas of Hillier and Wellington on the Lake.

  • Waste Management continued its collection service until sundown on Thursday, June 27.
  • If your garbage and green bin are not collected on June 27, please put the material back out for collection before 7 am on Friday, June 28.

 

SOUTH MARYSBURGH -Due to Waste Management’s trucks having mechanical breakdowns, some garbage and green bin collection service has been delayed in South Marysburgh ward.

Waste Management continued its collection until sundown Wednesday.
If your garbage and green bin were not collected, put the material back out for collection before 7 am on Thursday, June 27.

    The word on the street is the garbage trucks are used that the company bought from Quebec and the computer systems that operate the trucks is out dated therefore. they breakdown and the wildlife eat our garbage
