Thunderstorms are forecast for much of southern Ontario Thursday bringing an end to the week’s rising heat and humidity.
Prince Edward County could see strong storms but appears out of the highest risk areas marked by Environment Canada for severe weather. Strongest storms are noted for eastern Ontario through the late afternoon and evening in the Ottawa region.
The sun is forecast to return Friday in a mix with clouds while Saturday could see another chance of showers.
Cooler weather is expected to be short-lived as full sunshine is forecast for Sunday and next week is expected to be significantly warm.
