Year of the Suddenly – part stand up, part eulogy, all out funny

Tickets are now onsale to see Deborah Kimmett at The Regent Theatre, presenting The Year of the Suddenly – part stand up, part eulogy, all out funny!

Proceeds from the Thursday, Oct. 19 show in support of Hospice Prince Edward.

“Life is full of “suddenlies”,” said Kimmett. “One minute we think our lives are going one way, then Suddenly, we’re spun in the complete opposite direction. In 2013, I was teaching a writing class when “suddenly” I got a call telling me that my brother was ill. My life changed on a dime. This is a play about that, and a touching and funny look at our one last chance to get sibling love right.”

The Year of The Suddenly is a laugh out loud journey about complications of family and the unexpected curveballs that life throws.

Deborah Kimmett is a well-known Canadian comic and storyteller for CBC Radio, The Debaters and DNTO. She appears regularly on television for the Winnipeg Comedy Festival. Additionally, she is a governor-general nominated playwright and columnist.

Tickets $30
