Picton Main Street to be closed overnight Thursday

Picton Main Street between Ross and Bridge streets will be closed overnight from at 8pm on Thursday, May 22 to conduct mandatory repairs.
The municipality expects it will be reopen by 7am on Friday.
Traffic will be re-routed on King Street via Paul and Walton streets for the duration of the closure.
Motorists are requested to avoid this area if possible. Nearby residents are advised that minor construction noise may occur overnight.
On April 28, Picton Main Street was partially closed around the area of the CIBC to conduct emergency road repairs to a small sinkhole which opened up in the afternoon.
