Free disposal of Christmas trees under eight foot tall

The County is accepting Christmas trees for disposal at the Milford, Sophiasburgh, Hillier and Ameliasburgh landfills and transfer sites.
Trees may be dropped off at the landfills on Saturdays between 8 am – 4 pm.
Single trees under eight feet will be accepted at no charge. Trees over 8 feet, or large quantities of trees, will be subject to the fee schedule ($5-$20).
