In celebration of Canada’s 150th, the Drake Devonshire is throwing it down with two quintessential Canadian passions: hockey + great food!
Watch all-star chefs from Toronto and Montreal face off for an exhibition game plus a dinner you can really sink your teeth into.
All proceeds from game ticket sales will be donated to Community Food Centres Canada, supporting access to good food for all Canadians.
Special guests – including Ken Dryden (six-time Stanley Cup winner and NHL Hall of Famer), Mike Krushelnyski (three-time Stanley Cup winner) and Dave McMillan (Joe Beef, MTL) will be on-hand to coach the game!
The fun begins Saturday, February 4 with a family skate at Wellington’s outdoor ice rink from 9-11 a.m. with free treats and eats by The Drake!
The Toronto Grinders vs Montreal Mashers Hockey Game features at the Essroc Arena (Duke Dome) at 2 p.m. Cost is $20 and children under age 12 are free of charge.
Tickets include concessions by top restaurants and samples by Lot 40 Whisky and Moosehead Lager. 100 per cent of proceeds support Community Food Centres Canada.
The Post-Game Strolling Dinner at The Drake begins at 7p.m. ($110 + tax & gratuity)
Enjoy chef-designed stations by Joe Beef, Garde Manger, Jamie Kennedy and more and refreshing samples by Lot 40 Whisky + Moosehead Lager
