Prince Edward County emergency services were on scene at Sandbanks Provincial Park (Outlet side) – for two separate calls this afternoon – almost concurrent.
Police, fire and ambulance raced to the scene to respond to an alert that a three-year-old was missing. That three-year-old was soon found safe.
Moments later, a call went out to help locate two young adult males, just down the beach from the first incident.
The OPP ordered a grid search and firefighters asked everybody to vacate the water as Prince Edward County Fire and Rescue and two fishing boats were also nearby searching.
Just after 2 p.m., both males were found alive and are being treated by paramedics.
