CHEERS! to those who love apple pie, and the many services of the County’s libraries.

On a beautiful Mother’s Sunday, the Apple Blossom Festival was held at The County Cider Company where friends and parishioners of St. John’s Anglican Church Waupoos gathered to sell apple pies.

A portion of the proceeds, and a special donation, gave a kick-start of $1,200 to the Picton Library Capital Campaign. The campaign has 1.2 million dollars already committed toward the expansion project, with plans to begin construction in the spring of 2019.

Between now and then, the capital campaign aims to raise $500,000. Community groups are being encouraged to give generously in support of the library expansion.
