Apply to join Bay of Quinte Youth Council

Members of MP Ellis’ first Bay of Quinte Youth Council

Bay of Quinte MP Neil Ellis invites youth from the region between the ages of 15 to 24 to apply to the new Bay of Quinte Constituency Youth Council (CYC).

Following the success of last year’s Constituency Youth Council, Ellis is launch the 2017/2018 CYC that will meet once every one to two months to discuss what matters most to them.

“I’m eager to meet the new council members from the Bay of Quinte,” said Ellis. “I look forward to working together, with them, to make the Bay of Quinte a more dynamic and inclusive community.”

Ellis notes this nonpartisan council is focused on bringing a diverse set of perspectives to the conversation. He seeks the opportunity to hear fresh new perspectives and ideas, and participants will be able to better understand the federal political process and gain valuable leadership experience.

To apply: The application form is available at 100 Station St., Belleville, through Ellis’ Facebook page and on his official website. Applications are due by midnight, on Saturday, Sept. 30.
