Appreciate support for Veteran’s Day ceremony

At the foot of the veteran’s section at Glenwood Cemetery, with the white cross in the background, Glenwood chairperson Sandy Latchford met Pat Burrows, President of Branch #78 RC Legion Picton to receive $500 from the Rotary Club of Picton.
Glenwood Cemetery is hosting the third annual Veterans’ Day on September 21st. The message for this year’s ceremony will be “Honouring Those Who Fought For Peace”. This special veterans’ ceremony is held during Legion Week to honour veterans and to demonstrate gratitude for the supreme sacrifice they have made in serving Canada.
