Army training on the Millennium Trail

Members of the public are advised they may see soldiers from the Canadian Army Advanced Warfare Centre conducting training along the Trent-Severn Waterway near Carrying Place, and south along the Millennium Trail, Tuesday, Aug. 13.
8 Wing/CFB Trenton advises this training will involve soldiers wearing combat equipment and carrying weapons.
Members of the Canadian Army Advanced Warfare Centre are well-trained and there the base notes there is no risk to public safety during this exercise.
The Canadian Army Advanced Warfare Centre is conducting courses to qualify soldiers in advanced infantry disciplines.
