Avoid Picton Main from Bridge to Paul Monday-Tuesday

UPDATE: Work on the watermain at the intersection of Picton Main and Bridge streets continues Monday and Tuesday, May 2-3.
Traffic will be reduced to one lane and minor traffic delays are to be expected at the intersection and Paul Street.

APRIL 27 – Taggart Construction Limited will be working on the watermain at the intersection of Picton Main and Bridge streets Thursday as part of the Picton Main Street reconstruction. Heavy equipment will be required during construction and traffic lanes will be shifted around the site.
Work is set to begin Thursday, April 28 and expected to be completed by end of day. (about 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.)
Traffic is to be reduced to one lane and minor traffic delays are to be expected on all three streets. Drivers are asked to avoid the area if possible.
Access to businesses on Main Street will be maintained at all times. Construction staff will be available to assist any pedestrians on Main Street.
