Buckwheat Buttermilk Pancake recipe from Cherryvale

Enjoy this delicious breakfast idea – great recipe for the kids!
1 –1/2 cups buckwheat flour
1/2 cup all purpose flour
tsp baking soda
2 tbsp sugar
Pinch of salt
2 eggs, beaten
2 cups buttermilk
Directions
Combine dry ingredients. Add wet ingredients. Mix gently until combined. Drop batter onto pre-heated fry pan. Cook until bubbles appear on the top surface and flip. Cook another minute or two. Serve with maple syrup as desired.
The Cherryvale road side stand will be open Wednesday to Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. If you require items for Monday or Tuesday, please place your order by 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. It will be harvested first thing Monday and available at the office at the back of the building.
