Call to creatives – Two ways to show your art and south shore love

Every day, creative people find inspiration in PEC’s beautiful South Shore. And so do South Shore Joint Initiative (SSJI) volunteers.

This is why we’re inviting painters, photographers, illustrators, multi-disciplinary artists and people who love the South Shore to exhibit their talent, creativity and artwork at two upcoming SSJI fundraisers:

Nestings Silent Art Auction

Add your artistic expression to NEW solid pine bird feeders handmade by woodworker Dick Bird. Sales proceeds will benefit the artist and the South Shore Joint Initiative.

Only 25 bird feeders are available, so reserve yours ASAP!

Artists’ bird feeders will be displayed at the Mount Tabor Shed during SSJI’s second annual Jazz, Wine & Art fundraiser on Aug. 16. This much-anticipated event is part of the popular PEC Jazz Festival 2025.

NEW Square Foot Art Show

We know the South Shore’s rare and remarkable beauty is beloved by artists. Our first-ever Square Foot Art Show at the Mount Tabor Shed will be integral to the success of our biggest 2025 fundraiser – Pints & Polka: Oktoberfest.

Artists are invited to submit up to four square foot artworks to the show. Two-dimensional work in any medium, style or subject matter is welcome; including photography.

On Sept. 27, we’ll showcase square foot art with sales proceeds benefiting the artist and South Shore Joint Initiative.
