Celebrate the season at 28th annual Fall Heritage Day

While celebrating the harvest with family and friends this Thanksgiving weekend, rejoice in the season at Prince Edward County’s Fall Heritage Day.

Celebrating its 28th anniversary, the Quinte Draft Horse Association event begins at 11 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 12 at the Larry Everall Farm, take Cty. Rd. 8 (past Bird House City) turn right at Cty. Rd. 17 – watch for signs!
Horse teams from across the Quinte area come to hook up teams of horses and antique tractor equipment to demonstrate how they once worked the land. (People with horses and teams of horses are welcome to join in.)

The day features wagons rides, a petting zoo, flywheels, corn shelling, binders and thrashing machines. There will also be chili, hot dogs and homemade pie.  Contact 613.399.3439, 613.395.1855 or 613.476.2997 for more information.
