Celebrities ‘two-step’ closer to helping Big Brothers Big Sisters

Local celebrities from Hastings and Prince Edward Counties are polishing up their dance moves in a bid to become the 2011 Dancing with the Stars of Quinte champions – while raising funds, and awareness, for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hastings and Prince Edward County.
The fourth annual show unfolds Friday, June 10 at 7:30 p.m. in the Yardmen Arena, Belleville. Audience members will vote for a favourite and one pair will be crowned Dancing with the Stars of Quinte champions following in the footsteps of past winners, Jeanette Arsenault and Dave Allen, Sue Rollins and Mark Philbin and Andrea Doucette and Todd Smith.
Dancing this year, are: Leanne Antoski and Richard Courneyea; Daniella Barsotti and Brian Clark; Dianna Cairns and Chris Wigley; Micheline Cox and Rick Zimmerman; Debbie McKinney and Wayne Dewe; Sarah Raw and Keenan Sprague; Leslie Roseblade and Charlie Fleming; Sheri Thompson and Bill Glisky.
From its incorporation in Belleville in 1974, Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Hastings & Prince Edward Counties has offered parent-absent boys and girls quality friendships. The agency has served Prince Edward County since 1999.
