Food Not Bombs free soup Fridays continue downstairs at the Picton branch of the library every Friday from 12 noon to 1p.m.
Following the start of Food not Bombs meals held in Benson park this past summer, the lunches moved inside when the weather turned cold and have been going on in the library every Friday since November 1st. Everyone is welcome to drop by for hot soup and friendly company.
There are also occasionally food items to take away as well, and tomorrow, there will also be The Really, Really Free Market from from 2 to 4pm which will continue all day Saturday from 10a.m. to 4p.m. Bring stuff if you can to give away, and take things away too, all for free! No strings attached.
Plans are to have The Really, Really Free Market held on the last Friday/Saturday of each month.
