Community support for jazz at Glenwood Cemetery August 18

Glenwood Cemetery depends upon community support in order to survive. This summer, the tin roof on the chapel was painted and this essential project placed an additional strain on Glenwood’s budget. Sandra Latchford, Glenwood Chair, is shown thanking Libby Crombie for sponsoring the Saturday, Aug. 18 jazz event. Support of audience and community members is also needed. Donate at the event or online at www.GlenwoodCemetery.ca. Peggy deWitt photo
On August 18 at 10 a.m., the quaint stone chapel at historic Glenwood Cemeterywill serve as a PEC Jazz Festival satellite location. The excellent acoustics of the chapel will highlight the music of Colleen Allen, saxophonist, and Dan Ionescu, saxophonist/guitarist.
