Following two significant snowfalls over the weekend, the County is clearing sidewalks by day, nd removing snowbanks by night along roadsides in Picton, Bloomfield and Wellington during evenings this week.
Snow removal began on Picton Main Street Monday and is to be followed by work in Bloomfield and Wellington before crews return to Picton to remove snow from the side streets.
Crews will start snow removal along roadsides beginning at 9 p.m. each night and will work until approximately 5 a.m.
Residents are reminded to refrain from parking on the streets in these areas, if possible, to allow for an easy snow removal process. Overnight parking restriction are in effect on all Prince Edward County roads until March 31, between the hours of 12 a.m. and 6 a.m.
