Chefs from nine Prince Edward County restaurants are cooking up delicious ways to celebrate Spring, following a long and cold winter.
Their restaurants welcome County residents and visitors to celebrate Countylicious offerings of fixed price menus of $30 and $35.
The ninth annual event was launched at Island Forge gallery and studio in Bloomfield, where artist and blacksmith Bruce Milan presented hand-forged knives as a memento for the chefs.
Participants include Agrarian, Amelia’s Garden, Clara’s, East and Main Bistro, Merrill Inn, Portabella, The Drake Devonshire, The Gazebo Restaurant at Waupoos Winery, and The Hubb.
The four-week promotion runs April 10 – May 3.
“Countylicious is an event that attracts local food lovers,” said Neil Carbone, Director of Community Development. “We are pleased to lend our support to an event that the community enjoys so much.”
Guests are encouraged to reserve their tables early, as spaces tend to fill up quickly – especially on weekends.
