County’s Rachael Prinzen named school board vice-chair

At the first public meeting of the new Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board Nov. 15, Shannon Binder, Southeast Hastings, was elected chair of the board and Rachael Prinzen, elected last month to represent North Prince Edward County, was elected vice-chair, both for one-year terms.

Director of Education Katherine MacIver read the official trustee results from the municipal election. Board members were sworn in together:
