Picton Branch Library
Have you wondered about 4-H? Leaders Jane Thompson and Lynn Ward will answer questions during Discover 4H – a one-day program Friday, July 18 at Picton Library which will include many 4-H activities such as animal care, gardening, sports, cooking, healthy eating, crafts, farm machinery and more.
Those aged 6-8 (as of Jan. 1) will meet from 10-11 a.m.
Those aged 9-12 will meet from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Register by emailing janethompson1838@gmail.com and include the child’s name and age as of Jan. 1; any food or other allergies and the parent/caregiver name and phone number.
Picton Branch
Every Other Wednesday
10 am – 12 pm This group meets at the Picton Branch Library and welcomes people who are new to the area to meet others with social time and guest speakers from community groups and volunteer organizations.
Previous iterations of the group have built lasting friendships leading to book clubs, dinner clubs and more.
Anyone is welcome, but we do ask for registration to help us anticipate numbers.
