TASTE community grown is the region’s premier epicurean experience. A Festivals & Events Ontario Top 100 event, TASTE community grown is expanding to a weekend long event incorporating regional history, film, music and art.

Meet our tightly knit community of chefs, winemakers, beer and cider masters, artisanal food producers and farmers and indulge in the fine food and drink our region has to offer. Take in a guest speaker, enjoy a seminar and don’t miss County Chopped Live, where reigning champion Matt DeMille has just 30 minutes to defend his title from two of the regions best chefs in front of celebrity judges and a member of the local culinary community.

Saturday’s programming also features a Celebrity Pie Auction,  a regional Farm & Artisan Market and educational children’s programming provided by The Hub and Slow Food The County.

How it works. – Easy as 1, 2, 3.

1. Your TASTE community grown ticket includes entry and 5 sample tickets.

2. Once inside, you may purchase more sample tickets.

3. Visit vendors and exchange sample tickets for tastings (tastings vary between 1 – 4 tickets).

Please note that, with the exception of the childrens programming, TASTE community grown is a licensed, age of majority event and no children or dogs (except service animals) are permitted.

Get ready to party at the first Back40Bash – A County Kind of Party, an all ages, licensed event headlined by Juno Award nominees High Valley. Don’t miss the very first concert of this caliber right here in our own back forty on the grounds of the Crystal Palace. Don’t worry, we haven’t left out the food – there will be gourmet food trucks on hand to keep you fueled up!

This event is a rain or shine event. Feel free to bring a lawn chair!
