Administrator | Aug 25, 2015 | Comments 0
August heralds the Perseids meteor shower and The Friends of the Picton Library’s 17th Quality Book Sale on Saturday, Aug. 29 from 10 am to 2 pm. You can bet your stars we will have some great books at prices that are out of this world!
The sale raises funds for ongoing projects at the library that are not funded by the local council.
Donations of gently used hard cover, paper back, fiction and non-fiction books may be dropped off at the library front desk on or before Thursday, Aug. 27.
Please do not include manuals, text books or Reader’s Digest Condensed books.
Magazines, in bundles, will be accepted.
Over the past few years, with the help of supporters, the Friends have raised more than $13,000 through the book sales.
Volunteers are also welcome to help out, especially at set up from 9:30 – 11: a.m.
