Donations welcome for Saturday’s Book Sale at Picton library

Library staff and intrepid volunteers have donned their hard hats, safety glasses and work boots in preparation for the next book sale.
We have unearthed great books at rock bottom prices! The Friends of the Picton Library’s 17th annual Quality Book Sale is set for Saturday, May 28 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The sale is to raise funds for ongoing projects at the library that are not funded by the local council.
Donations of gently used hard cover, paper back, fiction and non-fiction books, may be dropped off at the Library [front desk] on or before Thursday, May 26, 2016. Please do not include manuals, text books or Reader’s Digest Condensed books. Magazines, in bundles, will be accepted.
Over the past few years, with the help of folks like you, we have raised more than $12,500 through the sale of books alone.
Volunteers are always welcome to help out. Contact Doug Sloane, Chair – The Friends of the Picton Library at 613-476-3277.
