Police continue investigation following collision in Picton

UPDATED:
An emergency road closure was put in place early Sunday evening until just before midnight at the intersection of Picton Main and Johnson streets.
At about 5 p.m. Sunday, June 1 Prince Edward County OPP officers responded alongside Prince Edward County Fire and Rescue and Hastings Quinte EMS to a two vehicle collision near the intersection.
The collision involved a vehicle and motorcycle. The driver of the motorcycle was transported to a nearby trauma centre by ambulance, with serious injuries.
The roadway was closed while the Technical Collision Investigation Team investigated.
