Discover the spring beauty of Monarch Point Conservation Reserve with SSJI volunteers leading a Wildflower walk, Saturday, May 10 beginning at 9 a.m.
Experience a wonderful showcase of ephemeral wildflowers in the spring. Of note is the Carolinian species Twin Leaf. Hepatica, Dutchman’s’ Breeches and Meadowrue are only some of the other beautiful blooming species to see and photograph.
Since this is an early spring stroll, unfortunately there will probably also be trash to harvest. Garbage bags will be provided. Bring garden gloves and wear sturdy waterproof footwear.
