Expect one lane on Loyalist Parkway today and on Hwy 49, Tuesday

While the County’s water and wastewater department will be repairing a water leak on Loyalist Parkway, Picton today, motorists can expect the right-hand westbound lane between Canadian Tire and the Millennium Trail to be reduced to one lane of traffic.
Motorists should follow the direction of traffic control attendants and are asked to take alternate routes when possible.
On Tuesday, the northbound lane on County Road 49 will be closed as environmental groundwater sampling takes place in the vicinity of Fawcettville May 2.
Motorists are asked to slow down and follow all signs and direction from traffic control persons.
Curbside garbage, green bin, and recycling pickup service will continue as usual.
