This feathered family beats the summer heat and humidity gliding on the Bloomfield Mill Pond, and poses for yet another photograph taken by passersby. Temperatures over the next four days – from 27 to 30 and feeling like 37 to 41 – include some rain overnight Thursday, a chance of rain Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and a better rainfall of 10mm predicted for Monday. – Sue Capon photo
