Glenora Ferry 15 minute service only on weekends until July; expect delays due to construction

JUNE 16: Expect delays on Highway 33 from Bath to Adolphustown due to roadwork this summer.

JUNE 6: On Saturdays and Sundays, the Glenora ferry offers departures from Glenora and Adolphustown every 15 minutes between 10:15 a.m. and 7:45 p.m.

The MTO reports that outside these hours, the ferry will depart every 30 minutes from 6 a.m. to 1:15 a.m.

Starting Friday, July 3, 15-minute service will be offered seven days a week between 10:15 a.m. and 7:45 p.m. through the Thanksgiving weekend.

    Where did this info come from? Was there an announcement from the municipality or provincial government? There is no reason provided. Feels like service is being reduced AGAIN. Likely to save the disaster at the Wolfe Island Ferry. Can anyone elaborate?
