Elegant hellebore blooming when few other plants dare, in David Stuckey’s garden near Picton. “The hellebore normally bloom in winter but we hardly ever see them doing so,” said Stuckey. “This one had a foot high drift of snow on it three days ago. I took the pictures Saturday. (10 C). We bought the plant as an indoor plant at Sobeys three or four years ago. They are supposed to be hardy here, and this one is doing very well.”
