HUB hosts Kahwa:tsire programs

Kahwa:tsire – the Mohawk word for family – programs will be held Fridays at The Rick Hotson Centre, 5 McFarland Drive, Picton from 1-3 p.m.
Gain insight and awareness around Indigenous languages and culture in a friendly environment with play-based learning activities that will engage and be fun for the whole family to enjoy.
Funded through the Journey Together Program, the Ontario government’s commitment to reconsiliatiton with Indigenous peoples, Kahwa:tsire afternoons promote and celebrate languages and cultures.
Build, create, draw, sing, paint and enjoy music and food at the sessions.
