Increased cyclist traffic expected Sept. 6

The annual County Gran Fondo is set to take place Saturday, Sept. 6 from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The ride is expected to start and end at Isaiah Tubbs on County Road 12, following 50 km, 100 km, and 150 km routes.
There will be no road closures; however, heavy cyclist traffic is expected.
Motorists are asked to take caution while driving in these areas.
When passing a cyclist, drivers of motor vehicles must maintain a minimum distance of one metre, where practical, between their vehicle and the cyclist. Whenever possible, you should change lanes to pass.
