Join library’s 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program

The County of Prince Edward Public Library & Archives is launching its newest program – 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten. 1,000 BBK is an international not-for-profit organization dedicated to encouraging the parent/child bond through the act of reading.
The goal is to provide a simple, innovative yet fun approach to establishing strong early literacy skills. The library will help young children gain the confidence necessary to become strong readers through an easy, simple-to-follow, proven program.
