You may notice increased flying activity by small, Second World War era aircraft this week such as a North American Harvard, or a Fleet Finch and a de Haviland Tiger Moth.

Continuing with the ongoing commemoration of the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan (BCATP), vintage aircraft will be in the skies above the Canadian Forces Detachment Mountain View airfield in Prince Edward County, Tuesday to Sunday July, 19-24.

As part of the Yellow Wings Youth Leadership Initiative, the charitable organization will be conducting flights for Royal Canadian Air Cadets.

Yellow Wings, developed by Vintage Wings of Canada, addresses the challenge turning young people on to science, technology, engineering and math, and motivating them to pursue their dreams through hard work, and discipline.
