Lemonade and cookie stand sales a boost for Terry Fox Walk
Administrator | Sep 29, 2011 | Comments 2
CHEERS! to Anna, Luke, Sarah, Amanda, Hailey and Holli who held a lemonade and cookie sale to raise money for The Terry Fox Walk at Queen Elizabeth Public School. They made signs the day before and put them up in the neighbourhood. The day of the sale, they stood on the corner enticing motorists and pedestrians to come to the sale. People were stopping and handing them money from the car without coming for treats and many people donated much more money than their purchase tallied. The total changed from the sign in the poster because $8 was donated right at the end making a grand donation of $113.63!
