Library summer fun kicks off with creature visit

The Prince Edward County Libraries kicked off Summer Reading Club fun with visit from Tyrannosaurus Pets at the Wellington Branch. Children and parents stared in awe as Marc Cunningham introduced them to spiders, snakes, ferrets, lizards and turtles. Most of the participants were fascinated and some were a little scared, but all had a good time learning about the fascinating creatures.

Casual storytimes continue at the Picton and Wellington branches at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday to Friday.

The Picton branch is hosting a Kids’ Cafe drop-in at the outdoor play space.
