Prince Edward County chefs launched the Fall 2015 Countylicious program this week.

Fixed price menus of $30 or $35 are being offered at nine participating restaurants in The County, including: Agrarian, Amelia’s Garden, Clara’s, East and Main Bistro, Merrill Inn, Portabella, The Drake Devonshire, The Gazebo Restaurant at Waupoos Winery and The Hubb.

Fall Countylicious runs from Friday, Oct. 30 to Sunday, Nov. 22. Restaurant goers are encouraged to reserve early, as spaces tend to fill up quickly. Countylicious enthusiasts who are interested in winning ‘dinner for 2’ at participating restaurants should keep an eye on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for contest details.

“Fall Countylicious is an exciting time for Prince Edward County chefs. We are so fortunate to have some of the best produce and ingredients at our fingertips and you see this reflected on the menus,” said Kimberly Humby, owner of Countylicious restaurant, East & Main Bistro. “It’s really a celebration of harvest and a wonderful opportunity for the community to enjoy the good things that grow here in The County.”

“Celebrating its ninth year, Countylicious is an established event that food lovers in the community and surrounding areas really look forward to,” said Neil Carbone, Director of Community Development. “In addition, it bridges the gap between the summer and the holidays, supporting the local economy well into the shoulder season.”
