McHappy to support Hospice

McHappy Day in Picton raised more than $2,700 this year for Hospice Prince Edward. The funds will be used to purchase everything from puzzles to tech items like iPads and earphones for use by children and youth. “We are taking the lead from the young folks that have been at our home and what they would find useful while visiting at Hospice,” says Nancy Parks, executive director, shown above, with Heather Campbell, HPE residential manager and Dan Doyle, McDonald’s Picton owner; Megan Pounder and Shawn Coleman, the Mcduo responsible for a successful fundraiser.
