Municipality ready to face challenges of 2012: Mayor

Prince Edward County Mayor Peter Mertens told council, staff and guests attending this year’s levee that the municipality is ready to face the challenges 2012 will bring. The New Year’s levee was held at the Picton Community Centre Sunday afternoon. First up is a review of the County’s services by Merlin Dewing, the new chief administrative officer. Mertens said input from County residents will be called for as the County examines opportunities for efficiencies.
