One person dead in fire Sunday morning

UPDATE: The deceased has been identified as 80-year-old George Arnell, of Athol. A post mortem was conducted Monday. OPP report the death is not considered suspicious.
APRIL 9 – One person is dead and another was taken to hospital for smoke inhalation in a fire Sunday morning at Quinte’s Isle Campark.
Prince Edward County firefighters were called to 424 Elm Street, at the park, at 237 Salmon Point Road at 10:30 am.
20 firefighters were on scene and contained the blaze to the four-season home. They remained on site until early evening.
Prince Edward OPP and the Ontario Fire Marshall’s Office have joined the investigation.
Damage to the home is estimated at $150,000.
A burn ban remains in effect in Prince Edward County until conditions improve.
