OPP investigating armed robbery at gas station

Prince Edward County Crime Unit is investigating a call about an armed robbery and vehicle theft Saturday, Nov. 22 shortly before 1:30 a.m.
Police were told a male suspect entered a gas station in downtown Picton, allegedly armed with a handgun. After the robbery, the suspect fled the scene in a stolen vehicle.
Through a coordinated effort involving the OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit, OPP Emergency Response Team, the Canine Unit and Lennox & Addington OPP, the stolen vehicle was quickly located and seized.
The male suspect remains at large and is described as a white male, 6’0, with a large build, brown curly hair and wearing a red hoodie with white writing, tan pants, and black shoes.
The Prince Edward County Crime Unit is continuing the investigation..
