Partners support Veteran’s Day

Glenwood Cemetery board chair Sandy Latchford receives a cheque from Matt Stiff, Chair of Community Services from the Rotary Club of Picton. Over the past six years Rotary has supported historical Glenwood Cemetery in the heart of Picton. This year their support will be used for the second Annual Veterans’ Day which coincides with the last day of Legion Week on September 22. Supporters also at the presentation in front of the Glenwood Chapel include Robert Bird, President of 415 Wing, Air Force Association of Canada; Rev. Stan Whitehouse, Padre of Branch 78 Legion and 415 Wing; Robert Quaiff, Past-President of Rotary and Gil Charlebois, 3rd Vice RC Legion Picton.
