Paws for Reading Tuesdays at the Picton library
Administrator | Dec 26, 2018 | Comments 0
Join Cynthia and her pup-pal Tusker to participate in Paws for Reading Tuesdays at 3p.m. in the Picton Branch Library! Cynthia and Tusker are trained volunteers with St. John’s Ambulance who help children learn to read! Dogs can be ideal reading buddies for beginning and struggling readers as they listen attentively and allow children to read at their own pace.
Each child can read for 10-15 minutes with Tusker, every week for the duration of the program. Registration is required. Please go to peclibrary.org/register or call 613-399-2023 to book your spot.
